First she welcomes a probe by the bipartisan panel, and now the Republicans have their panties in a wad. Is this rallying the judical-hating base or fear of guilty finding?

it does not matter, McCain blew-off the Keating-5 reprimand.

For all the Obama/Ayres fans that think it's perfectly fair for McCain, Palin and Mrs. McCain to question Obama's loyalty.  Well what's good for the goose is good for the gander.  The major difference here is that Obama's association with Ayres involved a commission looking into inner city schools, which by the way was headed by a well known Republican.  The connection between the two had nothing to do with Ayres former life as a terrorist protesting the Viet Nam war.  This connection occurred in the mid '90's'.   There was nothing illegal or subversive about helping inner city school kids.  The connection is totally irrelevant  to Ayres former self.  Anyone can be rehabilitated.

However, Palin has woes that are very much current and indicate her penchant to use her office of power as a dictator.  Throwing around her weight like a little female Hitler or Stalin.  When this report comes out Friday, I hope it shuts her silly ass mouth up.  I hope it keeps her so busy, she will hardly have time to think about Obama, let alone talk about him.  She is a mean spirited, ghoulish troll controlled by McCain and his cronies.  It serves her right and McDummy for picking her as his VP.  Country first my foot.  It is and always has been McFraud first.  All through this guys life it has always been him first.

So go ahead Palin have your sick fun.  Her turn is coming Friday and lets see how well you hold up.  Her actions these past few days show just how scurrilous, and debased she is.  Friday may very well be the end of her little run in national politics, and it couldn't happen to a more deserving person...

elitists? Please spare us. You actually belive that the Republican elected officials care about you? If they did we wouldnt be in the mess we are today. The only way the Republican party cares about you is if you are showering the party with big money, and if you happen to run a fortune 500 company. The Republicans are the elite of the elite. Forget thinking about party think about yourself and family when you vote.

Yes, it was a liberal panel that also convicted Charles Keating.  Justice will be served in Alaska.  After looking at the Keating Hearings, how McCain can look the public in the eye is truly amazing.

Go check out the Christian Exodus website and open Newletter #7. There is an interesting article "Is Sarah Palin an Alaskan Secessionist in Disguise?"

The part I found interesting:

"I was really taken aback to hear of Sarah Palin, since I had learned about her already at the Second North American Secessionist Convention, which I attended in Chattanooga last year with a delegation from Christian Exodus.  There Dexter Clark, a hardcore libertarian secessionist from the Alaskan Independence Party, with a distinguished beard and gift for poetic oratory, assured us that she was really one of us, a secessionist in disguise, who had run as a Republican only for the practical purpose of getting elected. "

Check it out... quite an interesting read.

Republicans tend to defend the loss of civil liberties with statements like, "If you've got nothing to hide, then why should it bother you if a police officer searches your car without a warrant?" I hope they apply this line of reasoning to the Palin investigation. Hey, if she's got nothing to hide, if she was not involved in any ethics violation, then she should be downright eager to have the investigation completed and released to the public

The leader of this Alaska Independence Party (AIP), Joe Vogler was killed trying to obtain C4 explosives.  Since he was so vehemently opposed to the United States, I can only imagine what his intentions for those explosives were.  I'm willing to bet, it wasn't for a 4th of July fireworks show.  I'm surprised the Obama camp hasn't explored this further.  It is certainly more relevant  than this Bill Ayres nonsense.  She and her husband may very well be sleepers for the AIP cause.  Then she's trying to worm her way into the White House.  What a sham she is.  As each day that passes, McDummy is looking more and more stupid and weak.  Always hiding behind women's skirts like a little coward...

Maybe instead of whining about the "liberals" you should be worrying about what Palin is trying to hide.  If she's innocent you'd think she'd be putting everything out there so this can be over with.  Of course, it's easier for you paranoid right wingers to whine and point fingers.

What a surprise, must be a bunch of liberals on the Alaska supreme court. Those elitists want nothing more than to destroy the queen of Alaska......

How can you start a thread and make a statement like that without anything to substantiate your view? Regardless of if the Alaskan Supreme Court is liberal or not. The made the ruling on the facts as presented to them. And, if you go back a ways, you will find the the original call for the investigation was by the legislative branch who voted unanimously for the investigation and who is represented by 8 REPUBLICANS AND 4 DEMOCRATS. So your view is skewered all to h--l and is moot at this point. Queen you say? No way? Oh I forgot! She can see Russia from her house. WOW! Do you remember her first response when asked to be VP for the Republican Party, "Just what does a Vice President do"? Really up on domestic and Foreign affairs. NOT!! If you want to defend the Queen, do it with some substance, if you can find any.

Gina2,

You must be gifted.  You can tell before anything is released from the investigation that Palin's hands are dirty.  Wow!  What a woman!

Personally, I welcome the investigation.  Either the charges are true or they are false.  Even though I know that leftists on this blog will not accept any result that finds no wrongdoing on Palin's part, at least the more rational and fair-minded readers will know the truth.

And if Palin is found guilty, all these folks who have proclaimed her guilty until proven innocent will gleefully revel in their vindication.

Why is that the republicans resort to calling names when all logic and reality scares them? I don't want a Palin to be VP. I want someone who has better morals to be a heartbeat away. Why is that the people who are supposedly moral and spiritual are the ones violating all the covenants?

It is beyond my mind that Todd did not tell his 'best friend' about what he was doing. Also, why would he be taking up the cause for HIS sister-in-law without his wife knowing about it. Come on people.

I plead to the religious right people, please STOP the abusive name calling. Do you think you can face your GOD after you do that? What would Jesus think about your behavior of vile name calling?

As far as the "Liberals" on the Alaska State Supreme Court - Let's have a look at who appointed the members:

Justice Daniel E. Winfree appointment by Governor Sarah Palin (Republican)

Justice Walter L. Carpeneti appointed by Governor Jay Hammond (Republican)

Justice Robert L. Eastaugh appointed by Governor Walter J. Hickel, who was first a Republican then switched to the Alaska Independence Party then switched back to Republican Party in 1994.

Justice Warren W. Matthews was appointed by Governor Jay Hammond (Republican)

Chief Justice Dana Fabe appointed by GovenorTony Knowles (the only Democrat on this list)

So, which Liberals?

She talks about Obama not liking America... uh...well... hello?  AIP wants Alaska to succeed from the US... doesnt strike me as a good American

Palin Pre-Empts State Report, Clears Self

Lord have mercy...... Sarah Palin has forgotten that in the court of law IN AMERICA (or in this case the State of Alaska), one cannot just make themselves not guilty or clear themselves of wrong doing.... just 'cause they say so!

Isn't funny how people even blame a SUPREME Court for their lack of insight? When a supreme court ruling goes their way it's "We live in a great country because of our Supreme Court!" But when a supreme court sees things the other way it's "What a bunch of $$%%#@! liberal we haveon the supreme court."

Opinions like B. Smith's undermine why this is a great country. Plus it just makes Smith look like a winer.

Their only defense in this is two things. One they never asked the guy to fire Wooten. And second she never asked anyone to intercede on her behalf.

Calling this guy up over and over to check to see if he had been fired yet and relaying the Governors thoughts about why he should be is not interference? In a broad sense they are correct in that The guy who got fired has said that they never came right out and said to fire him but the message was clear from their call including the ones from Palin herself.

She may get away with the second thought because the only people who would be able to tell if she asked them to make the calls are her husband and one of her staff. However Todd made cals from her office!

The judge in the divorce case is important. He told them to stop trying to get Wooten fired. He said the man had to support his kids and it was silly for them to be attempting to get Wooten fired. Why would he say that if there were not attempts to do so?

Here's what everybody ought to be asking themselves...  IF she did no wrong and there truly is nothing to fear from either the legislative or personnel board investigations -- then WHY is the GOP trying soooooooooooooo hard to cover it up???  You and I can sit here until doomsday debating whether she did or didn't abuse her power -- but, if she didn't, then why all the high-powered lawyers and lawsuits to stop everything???  If McCain and Palin keep claiming that the issue with Ayers is first and foremost an "honesty" issue regarding Obama -- they why is this not an "honesty" issue for Palin???

The "Ice Queen" from some horror movie, maybe!  Definitely needs some grooming to rub elbows outside of her yard - the "huckster, shuckster" act is so phony.  I believe every allegation made against her - made well in advance of the Republicans "hurried and harried" picking her up to try to sway the female vote.  Wrong!  In real life we deal with our family situations at home and stay out of our sibling's divorce!  Even Alaskan Republicans can't stand her!  :)

Yes, those liberals. Now Palin will provide "her own report" on whether she is guilty or not... hmmm. I am sure her own report about whether she abused her power will be fair, objective, and non-partisan... isn´t this ridiculous? when is the US public going to wake up? Palin is just not ready even for being a governor, which unfortunately for the people in Alaska, she is. She is not even ready to have kids, just look at how she raised her 17 year old daughter! Palin does not have the education, the credentials, the experience to be on the ticket, but she is, thanks to the American public. This is not democracy, like we always want to show off to other countries; this is a sham and the our passivity as American public to tolerate such mock of our own governmental structure is incomprehensible. what is going on with republican followers, are they beyond repair or cure?

For all the deniers out there, note that it is the REPUBLICAN head of the Senate that is saying that they wanted the investigation released, not the "liberal supreme court" (which anyone that made even a slight effort to investigate would know that it is anything but a liberal court!).

Anytime someone comes out with all of the accusations and fingerpointing and then a preemptive "clearing myself of all wrongdoing," they must know that the report is not going to be very flattering.  If she says that the whole thing has nothing to do with the efforts to fire the cop, why did her self clearing report spend so much time on the issue of the cop?

This was not "partisan" attack.  This is her own state and run by a majority of her own party.  If I were the cop, I would sue the s*** out of her and her campaign.  He went through his administrative review and took his punishment for some issue that he should not have done.  For the Palin folks to be slandering him and the public Safety Administrator now is certainly actionable.  They better be ready to prove what they are claiming or they had better have good insurance and lawyers......

Gosh darn it! Wink, wink! Those dog-gone liberals are at it again!  They MADE Todd Palin use the governor's office to become involved in state business.  They FORCED him to meet with high-ranking government officials to discuss Monegan.  I understand that the campaign wants to reach out to the average American voter.  I'm not sure if a reenactment of the Hatfields and the McCoys is the way to do it.  The continued comedy that McSame/Palin has become is proof positive that it is entirely possible to fool some of the people all of the time.  Perhaps it is more accurate to say it is possible to make fools of some of the people all of the time.  The Republican Party once again makes a laughing stock of American Democracy.

cont. from my post from yesterday..

Tip of the Alaskan Iceberg. The AIP and Todd Palin is next.

If you are an American voter YOU MUST SEE THIS if you missed it on my post above! Let no one make a mockery of America!!!! ... at 28 seconds you will hear a very incriminating sentence.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eniG9l_7its

***Guilt-by-association means McCain & the rest of the Republican Party pal around with this brand of Anti-Americanism and will continue to destroy America.

Vote Against McCain-Palin; they are anti-American and wolves in sheep’s clothing.

    MORE insight…

Here is video of Dexter Clark, Vice Chairman of the AIP Northern Region during an Oct 3-4 Secessionist Convention in Chattanooga, TN stating twice that Sarah Palin was a member of the AIP (6:15-6:45 on the clock on PART 1)   CLARK: "... There was alot of talk about her moving up. She was an AIP member before she got the job as the Mayor, that was a non-partisan job, but to get along, to go along, she eventually joined the republican party...she also had about an 80% approval rating and is pretty much sympathetic because of her former membership..."

    PART 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NK2sFJebGc
    PART 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqa896wYatk&NR=1

Of course the McCain Campaign has stepped in and the AIP Chairman Lynette Clark (Dexter’s wife seen seated next to Dexter in the video) issued a public statement on Sept 03, 2008 ( http://www.akip.org/090308.html ) announcing that Sarah Palin had never been an AIP member. Meanwhile I believe I read somewhere that the McCain Campaign has produced records that Sarah had been a registered republican for quite sometime. The reasoning provided by Lynette for the discrepancy on her membership was that Dexter had been "misinformed."  Regardless of actual membership Sarah Palin's association is inextricable because of Todd's membership during their marriage. These videos are incredibly insightful. Aside from a very purposeful ideology, the methodology by the AIP is to infiltrate politics through the cloak of the republican party in order to obtain power. Todd was an AIP member from 1995-2002 while married to Sarah. Sarah was non partisan Mayor until 2002. The connection between Todd relinquishing his membership in order for Sarah’s ascension into the political theater is pretty clear. Being a member of the AIP is not a benign act, one favors very specific goals and clearly unpatriotic succession is one of them. Do some research on its founder Joe Vogel. This is what happens when a VP is not properly vetted. The GOP cover-up of truth is upon us.

There are tidbits of interesting anecdotal evidence and furthermore these videos offer a unique and important perspective inside the AIP. Oil and money seem to be a big part of the movement for Alaskan independents as well. These folks sure got that "mavericky" kind of personality all-the-while espousing little or no government infiltrating their lives.

I don’t think McCain had this kind of unpatriotic “maverick” in mind.

Republicans claim to be the so-called”values” Party. Ha!

First, when the issue of teen pregnancy outside the bonds of marriage emerged for Palin and her daughter, conservatives said how wonderful it was that the Palin’s were so supportive of their daughter, blah, blah, blah, with no apparent concern about fornication and how this is a prime example of what happens when there is no sex education, birth control, etc.

Now that abuse of power has been proved in regard to Palin, conservatives are saying that this is a minor issue since no laws were broken. There is still the matter of ethics and morals, or, you know “values.” Do we want someone in the White House (again, like Bush/Cheney) who has shown a willingness to abuse power? I think not, but geez it seems to be okay with these nut wings.

These conservatives disliked Bill Clinton for infidelity more than perjury (i.e., breaking the law). But apparently ethics/morals are no longer important, not only in regard to Palin, but in regard to McCain’s infidelity. BTW, most Republicans don’t know McCain cheated on his first wife (and who knows what else), or Cindy’s drug addiction and McCain’s abuse of power in his attempt to cover it up, and I love to hear their excuses for McCain’s involvement in Keating Five. They don’t know about Palin’s crazy church or the Alaskan Independence Party either.

Yet Republicans are ready to march to the polls and vote for McCain/Palin. I’ll say it again and again. Voting is not just a privilege, it is a responsibility. Democracy is dependent, in part, on the premise of a well-informed/educated population.

Many people say we should get rid of the Electoral College. Instead of having to pass an exam about the candidates and their positions, the founding fathers created the Electoral College for the very reason of ignorance (and in this case including bigotry and racism). Thank goodness for this safeguard now.

Palin and McCain's supporters had hoped the inquiry's finding would be delayed until after the presidential election to spare her any embarrassment and to put aside an enduring distraction as she campaigns as McCain's running mate in an uphill contest against Democrat Barack Obama.

I am anticipating the responses this comment will drive; however, I am ecstatic the news reached the public prior to the election.

Holding the second highest political position in this country is not acceptable to behave or act unethically when you are representing the country's hard working and trusting citizens.

First of all, the group that initially started the investigation before Palin was picked as VP, comprised mostly of REPUBLICANS.  This is a documented fact.  The fact that she abused her power comes at no surprise to no one, so do not try to make excuses for the little nazi.

She really is just like Bush.  She thinks she is above the law.  This is a new America without Republican rule.  Christians aren't above the law, CEO's aren't above the law... all Americans are accountable.  And Sarah Palin will be held accountable.

Remember... when Obama wins the White House, the stock market will soar.  The world markets will see we've chosen well and there will be confidence again in our country.

RIGHT B SMITH OF Course if she is convicted it must have been a bunch of liberals sure if you just want to ignore all the  FACTS like it was a  REPUBLICAN that first inititated this investigation, thats right you heard me, and there are Republicans sitting on this board as well as democrats and a few independents. I am so tired of this Republican BS. If the Republicans say anything that looks bad it must be  the liberal medias fault if they commit a crime it must be Liberals that are judging them. Give me a break, WAKE UP. IF she was a democrat you would be screaming from the rafters 'OFF with her head", but since it is PALIN , well thats a different story WHAT A HYPOCRITE.. Sorry sometimes the truth hurts and it may be  not what you want to hear but its STILL THE TRUTH, GET OVER IT.

WE MUST GET OUT AND VOTE.  ALTHOUGH THE POLLS ARE SHOWING AN UPSWING FOR OBAMA, IT WILL DO NO GOOD IF WE DON'T GET OUT THERE ON NOVEMBER 4, AND VOTE.

SO, NO MATTER WHAT'S GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE ON THAT DAY; GET OUT THERE AND VOTE.  IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT WE STAND UP AND TELL THE DESPISCABLE REPUBLICAN PARTY WITH ALL THEIR VILE HATRED; THAT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH AND WE WILL EXPRESS THIS WITH OUR VOTE.

NOW GET OUT THERE AND VOTE!!!!!!!!

balancevoice7 has a point.  Did I miss it, or did everyone fail to note that the state trooper tazered a 10-year old child?  I wonder how many of you would want that type of trooper working in your state?  Not me!  And threatening to kill someone?  I know I would hate to have him stop me for something if he were in a bad mood.  My friend was beat half to death by a cop in Kansas City for merely driving down the road at 2:00 AM in the morning on his way home.  Nope, don't need that type of person in law enforcement.

I find it telling that this article doesn't mention that the trooper in question is still a trooper. After twenty some paragraphs it finally mentioned that there are legitmate problems with the guy, but it never mentions that the trooper made death threats to Palins father , nor does it mention the taser attack on  her nephew. This is a story about how a bad cop uses the union to keep his job when he should of been fired and possibly prosecuted for his actions long ago. I believe it was perfectly reasonable for Todd and Sarah to try and get this crooked violent trooper canned. The people of Alaska should be appalled that he still patrols their streets.

Please be advised that the Alaskan Legislature that determined Sarah Palin's guilt is comprised of 10 Republicans and 4 Democrats - hardly a sphere of influence for Barack Obama ... unfortunately Sarah Palin was not vetted properly before John McCain put her on the ticket - there are countless other Republican women leaders with far more abilty, intellect and class that he could have chosen - it seems like she brings out the worst in people, not the best - she's no Elizabeth Dole or Christine Whitman. By the way, the same bill that Gov.  Palin says Obama did not vote for regarding funding for the troops - John McCain did not vote for it either when it came out - a fact that she is comfortable leaving out - time for a new strategy!

Now that Palin has indeed been found guilty of abusing her power for PERSONAL gain, which is clearly covered by the AK statutes, maybe she will take a step back, and be real careful how she accuses others of bad behavior.  She did her best to stop the investigation via multiple law firms all over the US, despite claiming she had nothing to hide.  She claims she was afraid for her family's safety thus wanted the man fired. Ummmm... if you are afraid for your safety, why on earth would you dismiss your own security team, which she did, allowing yourself to be open to this "nut."  Please read the full report.

C Cdesign, your sarcasism notwithstanding, Sarah, the terror, Palin is the elected official who has been caught with her hand in the proverbial cookie jar.  When she first appeared as McFraud's running mate she was nothing more than a curiosity.  Now, just a little over more a month later she has become a byword, and a laughing stock of the world.  As well as a accused criminal.

Her scurrilous behavior this past week has shown the American people that she is nothing more than a demented scoundrel.  Her vicious attacks on Obama show she has no conscience.  Her willingness to defame him and incite people to a fever pitch in spite of her own dubious malpractices shows she is unworthy to assume the office of VP.  Her and McFraud, by their actions could very well have encouraged some deranged lunatic to commit some heinous unimaginable act against Obama.  Yet, she boldly goes on the campaign trail like she's untouchable.  Her arrogance knows no bounds.  I would suggest while she's standing in front of those same people she's been inciting all week long and admit to her own failings.  But she won't because she has this air of entitlement that places her above the law.

Today, I hear her in the background on TV trying to talk about the economy, it sickens me.  What happened to all of the flaming rhetoric we've been hearing all week?  What, its no longer advantageous since she has been found guilty of Abuse of Power?  What, all is well?  Now its time to talk about the issues that we ALL have riveted on; the economy?  This fallacy of a candidate is disgusting.

What happened to Bill Ayres?  What, we don't want to talk about that no more?  I thought that issue was so important.  I thought it was such a viable issue that her and McFraud talked about it everyday, at every rally.  Now it's not so important anymore?  What a fraud, both of them.  They are disgusting and despicable.  And this is the best the Republican party has to offer?  They both are the scum at the bottom of the barrel.

What a couple of cheese rags...

No surprise whatsoever that this is coming out just weeks before the election.  So what we have is a VP candidate who was concerned about someone who was a threat to the safety of her family and her state as opposed to a Presidential candidate who is a threat to (along with his radical associations) the American people.  Kinda of like comparing apples to oranges.

Kathy, you are obviously one of those people that don't have the capability to think for themselves.  You apparently don't have the wherewithall to investigate in search of the truth.  Here, let me spell it out for you since you aren't able to or you're not interested in really knowng the truth: Obama served on a committee that was headed by a WELL known Republican by the name of Attenburg.  Not only was Ayres a member of this committee with Obama, but several other noted Republican officials as well.  Are they terrorist too?

Auttneburg was a close confidant of RONALD REAGAN and a campaign contributor of yours truly; JOHN McCAIN.  Now in light of this are we to assume, as your limited reasoning would imply, that JOHN McCAIN is also a THREAT to the American people?  Should McCain give back the campaign contributions since Auttenburg's wife palls around with a known terrorist?  Although Bill Ayres was one who opposed the Viet Nam in a most insidious way; whatever he did in the '60's', he certainly turned his life around.  And in fact, in 1997 was named citizen of the year.  Not bad for a known terrorist.

You need to be honest with yourself and those you're trying to influence and just tell everyone that you were already pre-disposed to a negative opinion of Barack Obama in the first place.  This Bill Ayres nonsense was just an excuse to fan your hatred and allowed you to oppose Obama with a false sense of  legitimate reasoning; instead of the racist and bigoted one you really harbor.  It would be much more respectable if you just said; "I'm a staunch racist and will never vote for a black man."

Now, lets see if you're big enough, like Bill Ayres, and turn your life around, NOT...

Obama goes to a church with a preacher that preaches hate of America and hopelessness to Blacks and Minorities for 20 years and that doesn't matter ? Obama has a Million Dollar Mansion Built with help from a builder taht he helped get a land deal through for, and that don't matter? Obama has a verifiable record of earmark spending of over a million dollars a day for everyday he spent in Congress (McCain has 0 earmark dollars spent and has been in Congress 5 times longer than Obama) and that don't matter? Obama's Wife said she is finally proud to be an American (I guess she never was proud to be an American after going to Reverend Wright's Church for 20 years) and that don't matter? Biden (Obama's VP choice) said 6 months ago that Obama is not qualified to be President (maybe Biden is a liar? ), and that don't matter? And the list goes on and on of the things he media refuses to show people about Obama and the dems. The have many fooled and I believe that if Obama is elected President it will be the biggest mistake ever made since this Great Nation was formed. He and his party (Obama and the Democrats) will put us on a path to Socialism and more government control of our personal lives and business. The Democrats have been for more government controlled programs for years and with a democratically controlled congress they will have an open checkbook and the votes to pass anything they want. They are against Drilling here for Oil, they have a rob from the rich and give to the poor economic view and will stall economic growth for years. They will take this already bad economy and put our economy and America back into the stone age. Wake up people ! A vote for Obama is definitely a vote for Socialism in America. I want freedom, less government and less taxes. You people have been had by the media, Obama's ability to speak well (Hitler spoke very well and gave great speeches too). SAVE US FROM SOCIALISM ! Vote McCain/ Palin (If this story is the worst they can find on Palin, she should run for President).

I'm not one to wish ill-will for anyone, but in the case of Sarah Palin, I'm willing to make an exception.

I hope that this sends your "Queen of Alaska" Sarah Palin straight back to Alaska.  You all think that she's so great, you can have her.  I think that most of us have seen and heard more than enough of her!

Personally, If I never hear or see this hate and fear monger; incendiary monster (a person who excites factions, quarrels, or sedition : agitator) called Sarah Palin again in this life or the next, or even on this planet..... it will be way too soon!!

                        Thank's MY opinion.

Let's take this a bit further.  This investigation was launched long before she was selected to run with McCain.  The WSJ had been covering it for several months.  The panel was selected by the Alaska house of representatives, which have a Republican majority.  The investigative panel was chosen to be bi-partisan.  Palin pledged full cooperation with the panel.  It wasn't until she became McCains running mate that they tried to obstruct the investigation and claimed it was "political".  The whole thing is shameful and indicative of the GOP's attitude towards the rule of law.

Sarah has her hands full and not a lot of time to dingle around with the morons in our house of representatives, here in Alaska, at the moment.  Sarah from the start, willing to comply with the investigation, (but these take time and serious taxpayer money) and in that time things have changed into a political dart. Although there is a republican majority on the board, not all of them support Sarah, as she "cleaned house" of ALL politicians whom are scandal ridden thieves, wether they be Dem. or Rep. So go back to your little holes of unknowing and don't forget the shovel when this pans out to be in Sarah's favor. This stupid fiasco is over a moron drunk trooper and his buddy who wouldn't fire him. Not only wouldn't his buddy fire him, he also screwed up the books, which both the "cupcakes" lost their jobs. Not only did they lose their jobs for being incompetent, but cried like wee babys over it. So the big picture from Alaskans who live here? Two morons lost jobs, and their pus5ys hurt. Now we the taxpayer has to dish out the bucks.

ArticWitness, you must be some kind of stooge for the McCain/Palin ticket or something.  You seem mighty upset that the majority of people here can see straight through Sarah, the terror, Palin.  You cries of unfairness are falling on deaf ears.  Where is your sense of injustice when McDoodle and Pitlan stand in front of crowds inciting the ignorant stump crowds into a fever pitch?  Where you sense of righteous indignation against the scurrilous attacks being leveled at Obama for his alleged palling around with Ayres.  You as well as Palin are frauds.

No matter what the report says, it will still cast dispersions on her, just as she tried to do to Obama.  Further, the her connection to Joe Vogler comes to light, she's really going to have some 'splaining' to do.  She palled around with a known terrorist who was planning something very sinister with the C4 he tried to obtain.  Her video taped message telling them to keep up the good work says a lot about her treasonous attitude toward this country.  And with you trying to defend up for her makes you equally complicit as her.  Don't forget, guilt by association.

Pay back is a dog, in her case a pit-bull...

Adios, wolf killers, everywhere and boo, Halloween is right around the corner.  Heay, free-thinkers, what is Palin's costume goin be when she gets back to her helicopters and hunting forays.  Heay, who pays for those expensive heliocopters and aircraft and her great hunting forays?

Does Palin and Heay Dude own heliocopters and aircraft to kill the strands in the web of all life?  Guess Artic, is just one more scientific illiterate along with all the dozing.  Step away from all the brainwashing and into the light; it is called thinking, heay dudes.

What strike me is in one of the AIP videos they tell their followers after giving Sarah a ringing endorsement that all AIP member that run for office as Republicans. Now there are seccessionists here in America and I am sure their ranks will fill if Obama wins and one idea leads to another. Is the guy running in the south a republican or a seccesionist?

This was too funny not to share from the article. They must know whats in the report.

The paper also reported that legislators, journalists and others were greeted outside the meeting room by McCain-Palin campaign volunteers who were dressed as clowns and who said, "Welcome to the kangaroo court."

I like that comment above where the person says, "Send her back to Alaska...incendiary monster...if I never see that....again it will be too soon."

I'd just like to second that motion. I would really like to hear the stories of most people who get to be on the ticket for a pres campaign. I would love to pick their brains for insight into Real Politik and even just policy choices. What insights into the world brough them to their worldview? How did they come to believe this was the way to go, not go, etc.? Not so much with her. With Palin, I would expect no insight that I couldn't get from the newspaper myself. There is no policy behind her rhetoric. There is no reason to think any of her positions come from study and understanding of the subject matter. She seems to be all talking points and no justification for them.

I guess I expected more from McCain.

The one thing she was nominated for was to get the Hillary voters over to McCains side. In the new Newsweek poll 80% of them are now in Obamas camp. Figuring crossover votes in many of the states it appears like a shutout for Obama. Last night I read the entire report. It is incomplete as they did not have the advantage of hearing from all of the witnesses in the probe. The requested her to testify along with her husband and others in her office. None of them testified so the decision was made base on what evidence they had. If this goes through the normal cycle and she is convicted by the ethics panel she can be dismissed from office as their constitution says even if you are convicted of a misdemeanor you can lose your job. This may not happen because she appointed every one of the people who sit on that board.

If Palin, the repubs are so interested in resolving this issue - WHY HOLD BACk DATA?

So much for the dem conspiracy - so much for the media control - where is the rest of the report?

Using the power of your office to get back at your ex-brother-in-law.  That's wrong no matter who does it.  Palin didn't have to go that route.  It's not her place to put her nose in her sister's personal life.  She wouldn't like if the rolls were reversed.  Thanks Supreme Court for not bowing to pressure from the Republicans.  If this had been a Democrat Governor they would be trying to impeach and throw him or her out of office.

Robert, you're right Sarah didn't have to go that route, but she did and is trying to cover it up.  She's running around the country throwing stones at Obama, but she forgot she lived in a glass castle.  It indicative of the lack of character she has been displaying these past few days.  It shows her willingness to circumvent the rule of law, her lack of rightness, her sense of fair play and in particular her willingness to be used by that old goat McFraud.

Maybe its me, but has anyone noticed how her daughters look at her and especially McCain when they're on stage.  I definitely detect a note of disgust and disdain toward those two as they assault Obama like they have.  Their look says it all.  And I can tell they can't stand McCain.  Its as though they're repulsed by his presence.  McCollum is annoying to them.  LMAO...

Obama too insults. How arrogant of you to not see both sides. I cannot believe you sit infront of your televison, LLM, and try and pick out the way the daughters "looK" at their mother and others on stage. You must not have much respect for your own mother to be accusing them of having such terrible thoughts. I think you are also a very lonely person, if all you have to do is sit around and 'create" dramas in your head, you must be missing more than just an education and common sense. It's people just like you who are voting for Obama.

You are right, she is trying to cover it up and I personally don't understand why. When a state trooper threatens to kill the governors father (or anyone for that matter) in front of witnesses, and the public safety commissioner refuses to act, he should be fired. Is it just me?

Read the posts above yours before pointing fingers. The juvenile rantings on this board are disgusting. Why do you find it necessary to call names? Why can't you just express your opinions in a logical, rational manner? I'm amazed at the depth of hatred for this woman - what has she ever done to you personally? Attack her political/social views, since those would affect her role as VP, but why the nasty personal attacks? Why do you wish her ill will? I don't get that.

I don't agree with Obama's politics, but if he wins the election, I will support him as my President. I don't want anything bad to happen to him or his family, but I see just the opposite being verbalized toward Palin and her family. What is wrong with this country? We're all Americans, no matter what party we belong to, what religion we are, or what color our skin is. This is ridiculous.

Everything is a supposed conspiracy or cover up to the McCain campaign. How many times does Obama have to address the Ayers non issue for McCain to feel like he cleared it up? Geez, I keep hearing Palin to say tell the American people the truth and Obama goes on interview after interview and explains it and yet that isn't good enough. So we're supposed to take her word for it that she had nothing to do with Monegan but not Obama's word for it that it was just a loose assoication? Hypocrit? Why should we believe her story if nobody wants to believe Obama. Pot meet Kettle.

So now we are to beleive that the Supreme Court has gone to the "Dark Side" and are commie liberals.  Had they decided that the results of the investigation could be delayed until after the election you would have seen Limbaugh and hannity holding the court up as an example of all that is good and pure with America.

What a joke.  When well respected polls showed a bounce for McCain/Palin right after the GOP convention they were accurate.  Now that the very same polls are showing a growing lead for Obama they are part of the "left wing liberal media agenda".  My former fellow GOP's, when are you going to open your eyes and do what is right for this country?  The GOP has become a party of hate.  I went and changed my voter registration to Independent and will be voting for Obama.

The hatred toward Ms. Palin is off the charts, and it's not directed at her political stand. It's personal. This is the exert from the article:

ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin remained in the dark while her husband repeatedly asked top state officials to help get his former brother-in-law kicked off the state police force, Palin's husband and top aides said in affidavits provided to The Associated Press.

Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee, is the focus of a legislative investigation into whether she abused her authority by firing the state's public safety commissioner to settle a long-standing family dispute. The commissioner says he was fired after resisting pressure to fire Mike Wooten, a trooper involved in a bitter divorce with Palin's sister.

The investigation has been a distraction for John McCain's presidential campaign. Lawmakers were scheduled to meet Friday and release a report on the case, which could shed light on how Palin governs and what role her husband played in her administration.

The affidavits filed with investigators late Wednesday will probably help Palin's defense that the firing was not a tit-for-tat, but they also portray her as uninvolved while her husband met repeatedly with her aides about family affairs. That could provide fodder for her political opponents.

"I have heard criticism that I am too involved in my wife's administration," Todd Palin wrote in his affidavit. "My wife and I are very close. We are each other's best friend. I have helped her in her career the best I can, and she has helped me."

Ohhhh...so noble of him!  If true, then we need to look at the fact that a private citizen meets with the governors staff and gets them to break the law for him and the governor is not even aware of it.  Either way, it's sleezy and we've had enough of that the past 8 years.  Who does she think she is, Dick Cheney?

I wonder if I can get Texas Gov. Rick Perry's staff to fire my boss...or make him give me a raise...

my understanding is that S. Palin actually fired the commissioner for refusing to fire her brother-in-law....did T. Palin fire the commissioner without the governor's knowledge?

Or...is her turn coming Saturday, as in Saturday Night Live? Just more fodder for Tina Fey -- again -- just as the wheels start to come off the Republican bandwagon.

What I got a laugh out of is the McCain/Palin campaign "commissioning" their own investigation, which found that *gasp!* there was no wrongdoing on Palin's part! Yeah...that was the unbiased report; the independant investigation was supported by the evil Liberal Media (cue the old "bad guy" music) who are looking to discredit Palin.

As if she's not discredited herself already...

It's amazing how they've come out ahead to spin the "facts" after Todd P has all but confessed to the accusations; now, if only they can convince the American voter that Sarah didn't know anything... well that might not be so hard to do after all.

For Arctic Witness - I've read your posts - To prove I am not a "moron" I will wait until tomorrow to find out the results of the investigation which was sponsored and supported by a majority of the Republican Legislature. Of course us "morons" in the lower 48 don't know as much as you do however, we do understand "due process", which you must agree the Governor is receiving. That is where all sides get a chance to tell their version and a decision is rendered - oh wait, the Governor didn't give her version under oath but she did sleep at a Holiday Inn and talked to Hannity and of course gave her version to the National GOP which got the chance to rule on this.

As for the trooper, the part I miss in all of this is that he did get "due process", he testified, witnesses were brought in, the case was reviewed and punishment was given. The fact the Governor and obviously you didn't agree with the results should be of little consequence - the process was completed and probably by a fair share of republicans as it seems there are many in your state. So, you, Todd, the Governor should have let it lie.

Now I will look forward to the "process" being completed tomorrow and await the outcome....

As for Todd though - I do find it hard to believe Todd and Sarah are "best friends", that they "share everything", that they are the Alaskan "role models" of everything that is right - yet, he has over 100 conversations with people regarding this trooper and Sarah knew absolutely nothing about his actions - oh wait, he never told her anything about it yet stated "I talked to her about it so much she told me to forget about it"....with that explanation he should run for Governor next time.

Lastly, since she does "all of these wonderful things for everyone in Alaska" can you explain to us "morons" in the lower 48 exactly why her poll ratings were 83% 5 weeks ago, 68% last week and now down to 63% this week?

We'll see what tomorrow brings but of course, no matter the outcome from the investigation - Sarah will at least know she was cleared by the National GOP!

There must be something that makes Conservatives abuse their positions. They have an attitude of superiority. I believe they have a superior tendency to break the laws that the rest of us live by. They have over the last 8 years placed themselves above the law.

In all fairness, I think attaining great power tends to make both Republicans AND Democrats feel smug and above the law over time. However, what makes the GOP abuse of power more egregious is how sanctimonious Republicans tend to be about "character."

                              "It's all about character."

"So and so's statements call his character into question."

"It's all about the character, stupid!"

When you trumpet character... character... character over and over again, and yet you and too many of your fellow travellers are found to be severely lacking in character and ethical behavior yourselves, then the situation calls for you to be more severely disdained and criticized than someone who commits unethical acts but has not been repeating the character mantra ad nauseam. That's what I find disgustingly ironic and hypocritical about Republicans. It's their "do what I say, not what I do" mentality.

Rick - is that you? Is that you, Santorum? Come on, you already have a weekly "column" in the Philadelphia Inquirer - you don't need to be spreading your bile on forums as well.

And, hey, I'm a democrat, and in my 57 years, I've never killed a single baby. How about other democrats posting here? How many babies have you guys killed? Is this something I've missed? Will I have to begin killing babies to be accepted into the community of democrats? Let me know, please, because there's a daycare center just a few blocks from here....

Honestly, Santorum, you're referring to abortion. Abortion is an unfortunate thing, and I don't know many democrats who try to force women to get one. But babies, Rick - you guys don't give a s**t about babies. Once they've popped out of the womb, hey - they're on their own! Tell you what Rick Santorum - once the people who are alive and outside of the womb are treated with dignity and given reasonable support to live reasonably comfortable lives, and are not sent off to die in wars based on outright lies (volunteer army or not), I'll join up with you to focus on the unborn. Until that happens, when you use the word "pigs" look at yourself and your like-minded colleagues first.

They have an air of arrogance.  They parade around like they're entitled to positions of power and once there they have the right to use those offices of power for personal vendetta's.  The American people should be disgusted and fed up with their sense of rightness.  We, the people, can stop this type of political scum by sending a resounding message come November 4th.  If they suffer a devastating loss, they will think twice about bringing this type of scurrilous behavior while running for public office...

I agree.  An example would be by not calling people by their names and instead calling them "That One".   I don't know about anybody else but that really bothered me when McCain said it.  So condescending.

Conservatives make me laugh. All media is the dreaded "liberal media"...except, of course, the "fair and balanced" Fox News. That's the same Fox News -- replete with Bill O'Reilly and his ridiculous "no-spin zone" -- which, while every other media outlet had Obama winning the most recent debate by roughly a 55% to 40% advantage, scored it a McCain win by a whopping 86%to 12%! Yeah..."no spin"...except like a centrifuge. Fox is the network who buys Sarah Palin's pabulum because they are the onlynetwork the ticket will allow her to do interviews on! Conservatives back McCain/Palin because of their strong "Christian" ethics, despite the fact that while the Obamas have been happily married for nearly sixteen years, McCain dumped his first wife and married his mistress one monthlater, and Palin had an affair with her husband's business partner and has done such a good job instilling her "Christian values" in her children that she now has a 17 year old, pregnant, unwed daughter. Some "values"!

I could go on, and write about Cindy McCain's addiction to prescription pain killers, or Palin's vast "experience" as mayor of a town that it would take threeof to fill that hockey arena she'll be throwing out the first puck at (BTW, I am a hockey fan, but less proud of the fact since Palin announced she's a "hockey mom"). Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity...spinning like a top on a news channel near you...

FOX is owned by an Australian businessman who does not give a rip what happens in the USA.  And the CEO of FOX is a Republican Strategist.  FOX is watched by primarily Republicans, since, by now most of America has caught on to the fact that FOX gives a one-sided Republican viewpoint.  So, the polls on FOX are the results of a mostly Republican audience participation.

there those chills up the spine i was trying to avoid, but the way you say it, did it, for me, and yes i do agree. thats what makes it so scary. Prior to her nomination, this was to be finished 3 days prior to the Nov election,I hope it still does. I'm a guy and understand this is none of my buisn, but out of all the groups wanting rights, women fought harder and longer than any one of them, and ladies...I'm not in favor of you losing any rights any time soon. Thanks for letting me say it, now you can yell at me, ok.

Diane.......... You are absolutely correct. The last time I checked, the Assemblies of God believe that God is their one and only protector. Sounds like Sarah doesn't. She chose to let a Witch Hunter lay hands on her, and bless her. Rather weird.  That is an antichrist.

From the Alaska Daily News report immediately after the Justices heard arguments:

"Clarkson [Atty. Kevin Clarkson, representing six Republican state legislators in the effort to squash the report] said he hopes the court will issue an order to not only halt the investigation but to keep the Branchflower report temporarily under wraps.

Clarkson had help from Texas-based Liberty Legal Institute, the legal arm of the Free Market Foundation, which is associated with evangelical leader James Dobson's Focus on the Family, and lists its guiding principles as limited government and promotion of Judeo-Christian values.

Clarkson acknowledged he's also working with, though not receiving payment from, the McCain-Palin campaign.

"Have I talked to them? Sure. Do they tell me what to do? No," he said, adding: "Sometimes they don't know what they're talking about."

I believe that the cruel judgement she has for Obama, an equal judgement is being  leveled back at her.  We can't even be merciful, because she has shown no mercy, and she's the NEW one - WHO IS THE REAL SARAH PALIN? That should be the question McCain should ask.

                                Matthew 7:1 states it best.

The other observation is, she's suppose to be a "Christian" how can a true Christian so whole-heartedly incite anger and hatred?  That's not Christ-like.  Hellish for sure.

I hope that this puts an end to the extreme low-blowing negativity of the McCain campaign, (as they will have to take several days to defend Todd and Sarah's activities, and why they weren't properly vetted in the first place) Over the next few weeks, maybe we can actually get back to the ISSUES!

The outbursts at Palin rallies are very scary.  People shouting out "Kill Obama", "Hang Obama", etc. are very dangerous.  I realize you  can't control the outbursts that people will do in pubic gatherings, but this is becoming a common theme at her rallies.  I would like to hear a joint statement from McCain/Palin calling for an end to this, as this type of behavior should NOT be tolerated.  I would expect Obama/Biden to do the same thing if these things are happening at their rallies.

so you would not mind the cousin, of your employers mother-in-law, having you fired, for looking like a human, or just cause you use the wrong soap, and married [ tragicaly] to her sisters, sisters half brothers, mother??? The person fired NEVER shot anyone, he was the mans boss, the boss got canned, cause he refused to can his trooper!! the trooper should be dealing with all this in divorce court [HIS], like the rest of the USAs married but quitting couples, not Palins PERSONAL kangaroo court!

bakka, you're missing the point.  Apparently you're taken with the Palin mystic.  But no matter how much you dream about her, she still didn't have the right to break the law.  And especially as the chief executive of the State, she should have used better judgment.   Whatever happened to the little kid, the trooper was reprimanded for his actions long before Palin took the oath of office.  She wanted the issue re-visited and re-determined the way she wanted.  She applied political pressure to try and get what she wanted, that's not only illegal but it's amoral.

Since she claims she's a Christian; she should have prayed to the Lord and gave it to Him.  Remember, vengeance is my saith the Lord.  She is not the Lord, by any stretch of the imagination, but she certainly acted like Him...

And we are supposed to believe that her husband was acting on behalf of Palin and nobody told her what was going on?  If she was that much in the dark then she is a poor leader and her husband can't be trusted; my suspicion is that she knew and this is how they protect her (political) future.

It doesn't matter folks!  McCain/Palin are spiraling down.  She's not getting the VP spot anyway.  However, this certainly damages her politically at home in Alaska and for any future federal bids.

I'm afraid i'm believing the RNC and some deep insiders are actually setting this up and they do not want the white house in the next session. Piling 1 trillion dollars of debt in bailouts, 2 wars costing 1 billion a week, an economic mess unheard of since the great depression.

Best to slap it all on in the last throughs of a president who history will trounce for generations to come anyway, hand over the keys to the democrats and then blame them for the economic problems coming

When it's done and if McCain/Palin loses, they will ship her back to Alaska, blame for for the defeat, pull the lawyers out of Alaska and not take her calls. She will get eaten alive!

She is being used by the RNC and is too stupid or has too much blind ambition to know it.

Hmm.....if Obama is suppose to know about Ayers activities 40 years ago and refuse to serve on an education board with him....

Shouldn't Palin know what her own husband was doing a year ago?

Also noteworhty, McCain's new ad states that Obama served on a radical education board with Ayers.....he doesn't mention that the radical education board was for a program sponsored by Annenburg, a right winger who McCain lists in his supporters. A supporter who has contributed funds to McCain's campaign. I guess McCain is palling around with terrorist too since he doesn't denounce Annenburg's support.....

Can't the McCain camp find something to bash Obama with that doesn't also involve McCain or Palin????

I don't  see how any of the findings of this investigation could prove to be an embarrassment for Governor Palin.  If she isn't embarrassed by her airhead showing in interviews, or with her pathetic winking and excessive perkiness during her debate and by the absolute bottom to which she has lowered herself in these latest rounds of mudslinging, the woman has no pride and self-respect and therefore cannot be embarrassed.   You betcha! Just sayin'

and i assume 'excessive perkiness' is a euphamism for inappropriately sexualizing for candidacy and thereby cheapening the very important office she runs for

Fazool, very good. You hit the nail on the head.  No spouse has the perk of inteferring in their spouses' governmental responsibility.  She didn't know what the Dude was doing?    BS.  And getting so vindictively involved in her sister's divorce, just plain weird.  Cannot stand the crooked smile and constant wink, wink.  Who in the heck is she playing up to?  Certainly no one in their right mind watching her one woman show.  Next time she and McCain are together, notice how she is constantly hugging him and holding his arm or patting it.  I would love to see Cindy knock on her arse but, then she is too much of a lady to lower herself to such standards.  Makes me want to upchuck.  Being nice to your running mate does not guarantee you being elected, just shows that you are loose as a goose.  Wink, wink, gotcha, you betcha.   You guys get it, don'tcha know?

crazy people too... this investigation was on going prior to her being picked as VP!!! so it's not a get her now deal, it's a opps we never thought to ask, if she was honest, or clean, before they spewed her name as there choice as VP, so try again.

perhaps if Chaos McCain's team had vetted her they would have learned of the pregnant high school daughter, the successionist treasonist ties, the book banning, the polar bears, oh and the investigation

Don't blame poor Sarah.  It was McCain whose judgment is suspect for choosing her.  There is no down side for her.  She wins and is a heartbeat from the presidency.  She loses and she has speaking engagements with the republican base for life and book deals with Anne Coulter as her ghost writer.  A financial empire build on a bridge to nowhere and an imaginary pipeline.  ONLY IN AMERICA.

I was thinking the same think illini -- and then I remembered Anne Coulter being on Meet the Press a while back stating that she would vote democratic if McCain got the nomination...

And Wayne -- you seem to be living under a rock these days...  MANY news organizations have "investigated" these Ayers claims, liberal and conservative alike...  I don't care who's side you're on -- but, at some point, you have to acknowledge that if reporters (with their penchant for getting up everybody's booty and use of anonymous sources) can't find anything more than "loose ties," maybe it really IS just as they say it is...

Wayne 406009 - I did see Mr O'Reilly ask this very question of Obama and Mr O'Reilly said and has repeated that he was satisfied with the answer given in regards to Ayers. I do believe those on the right consider Mr O'Reilly to be a "respected journalist".

As for Palin - I just don't get enough opportunities to see her answer any questions - that's not correct - she has flooded FOX News with interviews....Greta and Hannity have their heads so far up Alaska I bet they can smell a moose fart!

This accusation of abuse of power is too much a "he said, she said" issue.  The fact is in Alaska, the Public safety Commissioner serves at the pleasure of the governor of that state.  The trooper who still holds his job, sound like a real sleeze bag, but then that may be just accusations and not fact.  Monegan I believe acted as he saw fit.  Palin on the other hand says Monegan was let go over his failure to accept her recommendations regarding budget issues in his department.  As I say, it's a "he said, she said" issue.  If the the reason for his firing was as Monegan says, then how was it possible for the trooper to keep his job.  If that was the reason is it not logical to think that Palin would have hired a new commissioner who would have discharged the trooper, and carried out Palin's wishes.  There is too much politics in this issue to ever be able to sort it out.  Palin not only has enemies among Democrats, there are members of her own party who would like to see her squirm.

All of you are missing one important fact. When you are elected to office you DO NOT lose your rights as a citizen. The report says Todd idi all the pressuring and she did nothing to stop him .Thats what they said she is guilty of.But don't you think you would do all in your power to have this Trooper fired if not prosecuted.Facts as admitted and punished for by Trooper Wooten #1 tasered his 10 yr old STEPson(Sarah's nephew)#2 drinking while on duty in his patrol vechicle,#3 had abuse charges against him #4 threatened Sarah Palins father. Some of this is from his TV interview others from articles in Alaska news papers. His punishment he was given 3 days off.He is still a State Trooper. Why because of his Union. Not because he is not guilty. So Sarah Palin is guilty of what?Doing nothing to stop Todd from doing what he has a right to do.If you read the report most of the "government officicals" that he spoke to to ask for help where his friends and did so as friends. And yes the whole committee investigation was political from the start. The Chairman is a Obama supporter. The greivence that Monegan filed was before the Alaska State Personnel Board until she was chosen as VP then these 5 political hacks decided to make a show of it.But they forgot you and me and every other citizen have the right to demand and persue the firing of any public employee who has done anything illegal or unsafe. Most of what I see on this post is just plain hate of Palin for hates sake.If you are not a democrat therefor you are to be hated.
